The portal-processing center with numerical control is designed for roughing and finishing large-sized products made of ferrous, non-ferrous metals and alloy steels. Designed for milling, drilling, deployment, threading.
The portal structure consists of two columns, on which a horizontal beam with guides is fixed, along which the spindle moves. This design of the machine allows you to process large-sized workpieces, provides additional rigidity, accuracy and durability of the structure.
The bed is a massive structure made of modified cast iron. To achieve the best surface accuracy and rigidity of the entire structure, the joining surfaces of the base of the bed, columns and portal are scraped manually.
In the X and Y axis displacement system, HIWIN linear roller guides are used, which can withstand heavy loads, have high dynamic characteristics and a low coefficient of friction The linear guides and ballscrews of the X and Y axes are protected from coolant, dirt and chips by telescopic casings.
The machine uses a spindle assembly of high rigidity. For precise transmission and increased torque, a ZF gearbox manufactured in Germany is used. The spindle is cooled using oil cooling and thermoregulation, which removes heat from the spindle, ensuring a stable temperature inside the machine, and increases thermal stability, thereby achieving high processing accuracy.
The Z—axis is made in the form of a square slider 400 × 400 mm and with sliding guides.
